Stephanie Cooper

Stephanie Cooper is a Senior Care Manager with a strong background in social work and a passion for policy development. She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Social Work, with her Master’s degree specializing in Community Administration and Policy. Stephanie's journey with SUN Scholars Inc. began as a student and volunteer, and over the years, she has contributed to a variety of projects, including some in the area of policy. Her deep interest in policy issues has guided her work, where she has supported SUN Scholars in advocating for systemic change and advancing the organization's mission through strategic initiatives.

In addition to her work with SUN Scholars, Stephanie is the host of a podcast that explores African American history and contemporary social justice issues, further demonstrating her commitment to both education and advocacy. She resides in San Antonio, Texas, where she enjoys reading, learning, roller skating, working out, and cooking in her free time. Stephanie is excited to continue her involvement with SUN Scholars and to contribute her expertise in social work and policy to further the organization’s mission of empowering communities and advocating for lasting change.
