Christopher Scott, Co-founder & Executive Director
Christopher Scott is one of the co-founders of SUN Scholars Inc. and currently serves as the Executive Director. Academically, Scott attended Tunxis Community College prior to completing his degree in Journalism & Linguistics at Central Connecticut State University. Scott also received this degree from Harvard University in Government Extension Studies, with a thesis that focused on the post-permanency outcomes of youth adopted out of foster care. Scott also has lived experience in foster care, having grown up in the Connecticut child-welfare system.
At SUN, Scott is responsible for day-to-day and long-term program management at SUN and directly oversees the Robert & Anthony Dudchik SUN Memorial Fund Program, SUN Pathways, and the flagship Connecticut collegiate mentorship and support program. Scott ensures that his office is always open to students and community members of SUN Scholars Inc., with a relationship first approach to design.
Scott is a passionate marathon runner, musician, and vegan. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife Carolyn and their three incredible pets: Fig (cat), Puchakaya (rabbit), and Kuma (dog).
