Join us to Celebrate the incredible milestone of SUN Scholars Inc. hitting 5 years of service at the Work Space Art Gallery in Manchester Connecticut! 100% of all funds raised at our 5th Year Celebratory Banquet will be matched by the Town Fair Tire Foundation.
All funds and donations will go toward our goals of establishing the foundation of a roboust endowment, with the intention of ensuring SUN Scholars Inc. can equitably serve those who have spent time in the United States child-welfare system for many years to come.
SUN Scholars Inc. is committed to improving the college and career outcomes of foster and adopted youth.
Uniquely, all staff that work at SUN Scholars Inc. have lived experience in foster care, with the intention of being a part of the community that we serve.
Only 3 - 7% of foster and adopted youth graduate college - we aim to change the odds. SUN Scholars Inc. provides academic coaching, career guidance, and mentorship to Connecticut individuals with lived experience in foster care or adoption between the ages of 18-24.
